How does BODYTEC actually work?
The BODYTEC concept is personal training using electro muscle stimulation (EMS). EMS allows for 90% of muscles to be activated simultaneously, with the contractions reaching a much higher intensity than those done voluntarily. This makes for an intense full-body workout.
A qualified trainer guides you through a 20-minute fitness session consisting of regular strength training exercises like squats, lunges and shoulder extensions. Although they are typically low-impact exercises, the challenge of increasing muscle contractions turns them into a high-intensity workout.
