Itinerary

Day 1 Munich, Germany

You'll need to arrive at our hostel this afternoon for check-in. A Topdeck representative will be on site to answer any questions you may have about the next few days or the festival itself. If you're keen, we'll take you through the streets of Munich and show you the A to Z of this buzzing city. Later: this evening is all yours. Pork knuckles and beer anyone?

  • Included: Walking tour of Munich and Dinner

Day 2 Munich, Germany

Today, we see what all the hype is about! You won't be disappointed. Complete with rides, food stalls and, of course, beer, you know you've made it to Oktoberfest. Let's do this!

  • Meal included: Breakfast

Day 3 Munich, Germany

Today is yours to do as you please. Go exploring and set foot in the beer halls you may have missed yesterday (there are loads more than just Hofbräuhaus). The city centre is also pretty close, so feel free to go exploring there too!

Day 4 Munich, Germany

After breakfast, we say bye to Oktoberfest for another year. But hey, why not head out for one final drink?

Here at OneDayOnly we pride ourselves on two things:

Our remarkable ability to remember quotes from practically any movie, and our skill in catering to almost any person in South Africa.

The latter is the harder of the two, because A) we haven't met everyone in the R of SA and 2) our personal tastes can hardly be used as a benchmark for things other people may enjoy.

Still, through sheer determination and never-miss-an-episode viewings of Egoli and Generations, we like to think we hit the proverbial nail on the head more often than not.

And in the almost unfathomable event that we're completely wrong and nothing on our cyber-shelves appeals to you, we'd like to leave you with the following gem from Lord of the Rings:

"Use the force, Harry." - Edward Cullen.
